Promoting Safe Sanitation

Rural communities still engage in open defecation. It is an unhealthy practice. It is also risky for women and girls to go out for defecation.

 

Udhhar has provided 200 units of individual household toilets making the women beneficiaries of this much-needed amenity.

 

This has addressed not only the issue of open defecation but also taken care of women's safety.
